Putting on my other “hat” as president of Litter Free, Inc., I’m sharing this information with you and your neighbors to encourage you to participate in this year’s annual community cleanup on Saturday, April 28. Every Saturday in Spring is precious in Juneau, so we appreciate any time and effort you might be able to put in to this traditional Juneau event.
The bag site for Auke Bay is Squires Rest. Bag sites will be open from 8 am – 10 am, and will provide bags, (yellow= trash, green = recycle aluminum, plastic, tin, NO GLASS!!!), plastic gloves, sign up sheets, wrist bands to allow entry to the Coastal Code picnic, and information on the cleanup.
